Pack Your Bags, We've Got Everything Else
Every campervan in our fleet comes loaded with camping gear — from kitchen equipment and bedding to outdoor furniture and cleaning supplies. Just bring your personal items and you're ready for the Australian adventure of a lifetime.
The beauty of hiring a campervan through Cheap Campervan Hire is that you don't need to own, buy, or pack any camping gear. Every vehicle comes fully stocked with everything you need for comfortable life on the road — kitchen equipment for cooking meals, cosy bedding for restful sleep, outdoor furniture for campsite living, and all the practical essentials in between.
This is particularly valuable for international visitors who can't bring camping gear on a flight, first-time campervan travellers who don't own outdoor equipment, and anyone who simply prefers the convenience of a ready-to-go vehicle.
All gear is professionally maintained, cleaned, and restocked between hires — so you can trust that everything will be in good condition and complete when you pick up your campervan.
Gas stove, fridge, pots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery, and cooking utensils — cook anything on the road.
Proper duvets, pillows, and fitted sheets — not thin sleeping bag liners. Sleep well every night.
Folding table and chairs so you can dine, relax, and enjoy campsite views in comfort.
Dustpan, dish soap, sponges, bin bags, tea towels — the small things that make van life easy.
12V power, USB charging, LED lights — stay powered up day and night without external connections.
Fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and 24/7 roadside assistance for complete peace of mind.
While all vehicles include core camping gear, larger vehicles come with additional equipment:
We understand that gear quality directly affects your enjoyment. All our partner companies maintain high standards for their camping equipment — items are inspected between hires, worn or damaged items are replaced, and everything is thoroughly cleaned to commercial hygiene standards.
If you find any equipment missing or in poor condition at pickup, report it immediately and the rental company will provide replacements. Most companies keep spare equipment at their depots and partner locations around Australia.
While the campervan covers camping essentials, you'll want to bring a few personal items: toiletries and sunscreen, reusable water bottles, a torch or headlamp, insect repellent, any personal medications, comfortable walking shoes, layers for varying temperatures, and entertainment for downtime. Check our complete packing list guide for detailed recommendations.
