For many travellers, having a kitchen and shower on board is the difference between a comfortable holiday and a challenging one. Self-contained campervans and motorhomes with full bathroom and cooking facilities give you the freedom to camp anywhere without relying on caravan park amenities or public facilities.
Our range of campervans with kitchen and shower includes mini motorhomes and full-size motorhomes, all equipped with hot water, a proper shower, flushing toilet, and a complete kitchen with fridge, stove, oven, microwave, and ample bench space. Whether you're freedom camping in a national park or staying at a beachside caravan park, you'll have everything you need right inside your vehicle.
No reliance on campground facilities. Shower, cook, and use the toilet anytime, anywhere.
Self-contained vehicles can access many freedom camping spots that non-self-contained vehicles cannot.
Gas-heated hot water means a proper shower after a day of hiking, swimming, or exploring.
Fridge, gas stove, microwave, oven, and full utensil set for preparing any meal.
Camp at free or low-cost unpowered sites instead of paying for powered sites with amenities.
Your own private bathroom means no queuing, no shared facilities, and complete hygiene control.
Self-contained campervans and motorhomes come with comprehensive kitchen setups that let you prepare everything from a quick breakfast to a full three-course dinner.
The bathroom in a self-contained motorhome is a compact but functional space that provides all the essentials.
Two main vehicle types offer on-board kitchen and shower facilities:
Compact motorhomes that pack a kitchen, shower, and toilet into a vehicle not much larger than a hi-top campervan. They sleep 2-4 people and are easy to drive and park. The bathroom is compact but fully functional, and the kitchen includes all essential appliances. Prices start from around $89/day.
For maximum comfort and space, full-size motorhomes offer a larger bathroom, a more spacious kitchen, separate living and sleeping areas, and sleep 4-6 people. Many feature a rear bedroom with permanent bed, a mid-ship bathroom, and a front living/kitchen area. Prices start from around $99/day.
One of the biggest advantages of a self-contained campervan is access to freedom camping spots. Many Australian councils and national parks allow self-contained vehicles to camp in designated areas where non-self-contained vehicles are restricted. This opens up some of the most beautiful and secluded camping spots in the country.
To qualify as self-contained, a vehicle must have an on-board toilet, fresh water supply, and grey water holding tank. All our motorhomes and mini motorhomes meet these requirements.
